WESTERN NEW YORK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HELP RAISE OVER $26,000 FOR KIDS ESCAPING DRUGS
The 20th Annual Walk For Kids presented by FYO held on Sunday, May 19th at Medaille College was a great success. The beautiful weather welcomed over 600 students on a 3-mile stroll, helping raise over $26,000 forthe Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign. The top fundraising school was Clarence High School, who raised a total of $4,648.88. In second place was Tonawanda High School, who raised a total of $2,778.25. After completing the 3-mile walk the students were invited to a fun-filled post party including food from Daddio’s Pizza, Upstate Farms, Dunkin’ Donuts and Sahlen’s.
