About Tami Smith:
Tami is the Program Director of Promise House and Palmerton Place on the Renaissance Campus. She began her career on the Campus as an intern 18 years ago. She is a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State. Tami completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hilbert College, where she was presented with the Hilbert College Award in Psychology with Honors. Tami earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Medaille College. In working on the Campus every day, she enjoys having the opportunity to work with an amazing staff and watch the adolescents on Campus grow.
About Melinda Dillon:
Melinda is the Case Manager on the Renaissance Campus. Melinda has a passion for assisting youth through advocacy and education. Her career in human services began at New Directions Youth and Family Services as a Youth Counselor and then Assistant Supervisor of Grigg Cottage. Melinda earned her Associate’s Degree in Human Services and a Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Niagara County Community College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at SUNY Buffalo State. Melinda enjoys making a difference and perceives her role as Case Manager, an opportunity to create a ripple effect of success for individuals and their communities.
About Danielle Charboneau:
Danielle is an Addiction Counselor at Palmerton Place, one of the two Reintegration Programs on the Renaissance Campus. Danielle began her career on the campus four years ago as an Art Therapy Intern. In 2017, she began working as a Face2Face Program Counselor for Kids Escaping Drugs. In 2019, Danielle transitioned to an Addiction Counselor for the Reintegration Program, where she could play more of a direct role in the treatment of our young adults on campus. Danielle holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Edinboro University and is currently working towards her license for Creative Arts Therapy. She also recently obtained her CASAC-T.
About Aaron Smith:
Aaron is an Addiction Counselor at Promise House. He has been with the agency for 21 years in various capacities. He prides himself on approach-ability and fairness. Aaron says the population we serve deserves a second chance and he believes it is his duty to help provide an opportunity for that. He believes change is a process, not an event, and requires a team effort. Aaron is proud to be a part of this team.
About Jennifer Tatko:
Jennifer is the Vocational Counselor for Promise House and Palmerton Place. She obtained her Master’s in Student’s with Disabilities from Grand Canyon University and Master’s in Athletic Administration from Canisius College. Prior to becoming the Vocational Counselor Jennifer was the Life Skills teacher for Renaissance Campus. Jennifer’s education, employment experience, and great passion for helping others assists her in guiding clients to grow in their career and educational goals.
