John Bruso is a former Erie County Legislator who represents parts of Cheektowaga, and the Towns of Lancaster and Alden, as well as the villages of Depew, Lancaster and Alden. John recently retired from UPS after thirty years. He started as a package car driver and worked his way into management. His career at UPS was spent in operations, human resources, and employee relations. He was honored to have been a regional finalist for the James E. Casey Community Service Award, which is given to only one UPS employee per year in recognition of their service. John has dedicated his life to serving the Western New York Community. He has taken leadership roles as a Vice President in the Buffalo Regals Hockey Organization, Director of St. Lutheran Church Food Pantry and as the Executive Director of Families Touched by MS. He has served on the Board of Directors of Kids Escaping Drugs for more than eighteen years.
