On behalf of our sister organization, Renaissance Addiction Services, Inc. (RASI), Kids Escaping Drugs is pleased to announce that RASI has been selected as one of eight addiction treatment providers in New York state to receive a portion of the $8.1 million in rapid expansion funds. These funds will support construction needs and operational assistance for treatment programming, and the development of up to 80 new residential treatment beds and 600 new Opioid Treatment program slots throughout New York state.

RASI will receive $1,496,000 of these funds to develop a 15-bed community residence on the Renaissance Campus, located in West Seneca, NY.

"We are deeply humbled with the honor to follow Governor Cuomo's lead in combating the devastating heroin and opioid crisis affecting our communities." said RASI and Kids Escaping Drugs Executive Director, Robin Clouden. “We are also incredibly grateful for the steadfast support of the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services for their role in helping to make these funds available to organizations like RASI. These funds will be utilized to expand our continuum of care and provide the critical services to help us to build a healthier Western New York community.”
