In Memory Of Geno

Geno was born on Halloween and that was his favorite holiday. He had a devilish grin and the heart of an angel. That same smile and spirit carries on in Jordan, Geno's 6-year-old son, who he left behind and who loves his daddy and misses him very much.

Geno was a huge fan of scary movies and had the most amazing tattoos on his legs of Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, Michael Myers, and the Exorcist.

He was funny, smart, and a good friend to many. He'd give the shirt off his back if you needed it and was always the first to help when people asked.

He loved cooking. He had a smoker and smoked ribs, briskets, and beef jerky. His friends and family had an open invitation to come by and enjoy his meals. Geno had a garden for many years and grew hot peppers and tomatoes. He started a garden this year but is not here to tend to it.
Geno looked forward to his annual camping trips at Allegheny with friends and family and he started planning for it months in advance.

Geno was a roofer and within 2 years of starting he became a Journeyman. He was proud to be a roofer.
He had a sneaker collection of 70+ boxes. Most of them he never wore but if he wore a pair he made sure he cleaned them and put them back in the box as if they were never worn. He would eagerly wait in line or go online to be one of the first to get new sneakers when they came out -Nike, Adidas, but Jordans were his favorite as he always said Michael Jordan was the best basketball player ever.

Geno is missed every day. He struggled for so long against addiction, but lost his battle. We know he watches over us and we believe we can always talk to him and he is listening.
