Kids Escaping Drugs, Inc. is governed by a volunteer board of directors and pursues charitable gifts from foundations, individuals, and corporations to support the facilities of the Renaissance Campus and our education and community outreach program, Face 2 Face. Through the years, we have been strongly supported by local and state lawmakers.
Face 2 Face is a proactive early education and intervention program. It is designed to put a face on drug and alcohol addiction. The strength of the Face 2 Face program comes from the peer component, recovering addicts and their families who are willing to share their stories and consequences they faced. For more information about this program and how these services may help you, please click here.
The Renaissance Campus consists of three buildings that house up to 62 chemically-dependent adolescents ranging in age from 12 to 20. Renaissance House and Promise House offer services for males and Stepping Stones treats our adolescent females. For more information on the program services available, click here.
Staff and a dedicated group of volunteers host events that range from a Charity Gala, golf tournaments and ski races to appearances at summer fairs and festivals to raise funds for Kids Escaping Drugs. We also do televents each year on WGRZ-TV Channel 2 On Your Side, an original partner and continuing sponsor of Kids Escaping Drugs. This broadcast takes place during the 5:00 – 6:30 news hour providing another opportunity to educate our community about the current trends in adolescent drug use and what services are available through Kids Escaping Drugs and the Renaissance Campus.
