There are several fundraising aprograms in place to help raise funds for and awareness of Kids Escaping Drugs: Kids Helping Kids and Caring For Kids. They are fun way to get involved in your community while giving others a chance to succeed in life.

The most creative ideas for Kids Helping Kids and Caring For Kids come from the organizations that host them. Kids Escaping Drugs will be happy to provide buttons, stickers, paper houses, collection bins and a brainstorming session with a member of our special events staff. Kids Helping Kids

Kids Helping Kids is a unique program designed to involve Western New York youth in fundraising activities that directly benefit their communities and help their peers overcome drug and alcohol addiction. The Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign helps schools and community or church youth groups coordinate fundraisers tailored to their specific interests to raise funds for the Renaissance Campus and its programs.

How can you help?
We would like to invite all students to participate in the Kids Helping Kids portion of the
Kids Escaping Drugs Telethon, which is held every spring at the Renaissance Campus.

In addition, any group participating in Kids Helping Kids will be invited to have representatives appear live on the Kids Escaping Drugs Telethon in the spring to present the proceeds from their fundraiser.


Caring For Kids

Caring for Kids is a program the Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign drives annually to get Western New York companies involved with fundraising efforts for Renaissance Campus.

Fundraisers that have worked well in past include company dress down days, “Building a Better Future” paper house sale, a flower sale, and raffles. Or tap into the creativity of your staff to offer ideas - these are usually the most successful fundraisers. Also, any company participating in a Caring for Kids event will be invited to have representatives appear live on the Annual Kids Escaping Drugs Telethon in to present the proceeds from their fundraiser.

All proceeds from your Caring for Kids event will go directly toward supporting the Renaissance Campus and the programs supported by the Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign. This includes Art Therapy and Vocational Educational programs for the clients and alumni of the Renaissance Campus; as well as a Peer Awareness Prevention program that reaches tens of thousands of school children in Western New York each year.
